Heist, grand heist and gold, low just for me?

Is there something am missing, is there really so low drops on gold on thoose that you must be gated through maps to keep gold up?

got a maximum of around 500 from a heist, lvl 80 thou, but should it really be that shitty?

All side content is like that
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
You do maps for gold.
You do contracts for some other reason.
I still think it should be a litle more, you need to sustain the kingsmarch and in my mind heists (you actully rob em) there should be a litle higher gold reward.

But i guess it is how it works and i will need to find myself grinding maps untill i can do some heist so town do not get on hold.

Such a pain in the ass :D

To be fair all other previous leagues also did not placed the league specific content into side area content.
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

Man I would'a loved Delirium + Delve..

I tried some Heist from scratch since my stash was 100% full.
I rolled t2 rarity/t1 currency dupe on lvl 5 brooche by the time i had everybody at lvl 5 and did some lvl 83 lockpicking mostly. I used the expensive 1% chaos drop a divine thingy but without extra rarity on it.

Yeah it's not enough to keep a town running even at the highest level, since killing mobs is only for a few sec when the npc is working... but if ya throw in some maps it should be fine. Suprisingly some valuable scarabs dropped from chests which i did not expect. Maybe i should have used scarab dupe instead of currency dupe, dunno^^

The time spend in Heist still seems worth it compared to t16 at least. I don't do tryhard skip everything. I try to open as much chests as possible without backtracking. Once a league if you don't want to bother with selling your stuff in bulk (since not everybody uses the darrn discord) this place is good. But i wouldn't go there without a stash full of lvl 83 contracts/blueprints from maps.
The Atlas has always been the hub for league mechanics, and will probably always be the hub. Side content is called side content because, well, it's side content and mot main content. Wanna delve? Farm maps for sulphite. Wanna do safehouses? Farm maps for betrayal encounters. Wanna progress your town? Farm maps for gold.

It's nothing new, but is it the perfect solution? Who the hell knows.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
