game keep crashing in maps multiple times, mostly after game start, but not only then

this is so frustrating i can't even tell,
it started like 2-3 leagues ago to happen sometimes, and by that i mean like once every month, so it was no issue.
but this league is diffent and it reached a new level...

there are multiple scenarios for this.
i play on steam, specs at the end.

scenarios:
i start the game, i login and after pressing start in the char selection, the loadingscreen to any town comes.
and this is the point where the game, IF the cogwheels (so the "loading bar") get stuck for just a tiny bit, there is a (imo) 99% chance it just crash to desctop without anything. like the game just vanish.
if that happens, it is like the game got cursed and the same thing happens multiple times in a row.
just sometimes switching server do work to get pass the loading screen, otherwise this can happen up to like 10 times in a row!.
and if this keep happening on switching server, after the crash i am back on the server i was before switching.

if the game start normal it sometimes happens, the game just crash after entering the map and attacking the first 3-4 groups and sometimes even on a few mobs are needed.
if that happens it is the same as before, it feels like the game got cursed and the same thing happens multiple times in a row, sometimes you even waste all portals to this for up to 2 maps in a row.
this is the most frustrating scenario!
just sometimes it helps to go to any act zone and kill a few mob groups there to break out of this curse.

and sometimes it just crashes on (i guess) density, and the problem here is, it don't need to be high density, sometimes it just needs one or two groups of like 10-20 mobs (mostly after clicking any mechanic that spans mobs, like exarch/eater shrines, strongboxes, ...),
you hit them and the game insta crash to desctop.
this is also an extreme frustrating one, because it not only happens after game start it also can happen (luckily very rare) just anytime and
if this happens, the game also feels cursed because it happens multiple times in a row then and you will loose again all portals.
as before the only thing it feels can break you out of this curse is to go to any map zone and kill a few mob groups there first.


- so in ALL this scenarios the game just crash to desctop without anything, just vanished.
- there are mostly no signs like lags or network spikes before it happens.
- it seems changing Networking Mode also do not help, i already testet with them all and there seems to be no different effects in regard to this problem.
- also changing dx12 to vulkan seems to not help.

it evolved over the league from like once a week to almost once a day or at least every 2nd, what makes it extreme annoying and frustrating already.
and every patch seemed to make it worse.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem today.
Either I get into the game and can run a map, but as soon as I want to make a trade - desktop

I'll get to the character selection and as soon as the loading screen with the gears comes up - desktop

Or I clean a map, want to relog to my boss killer and only get to the loading screen again.

Please fix this quickly, I don't know what was changed last night, but today nothing works anymore :/

seems today it is a bigger problem, i cant run a single map without the game crashing, mb it is bc i also am testing around with some skills, sometimes it seems the game cant handle some skill combinations idk.

and idk how often but i died at least 10 times only in the last 3 days just because of this happening.. i am lvl97 and can't get up just because i died while crash..
frustration level rising extremely fast

idk i am done for today it's getting worse and worse, now the game just randomly crashes to desctop.
enter a map > crash
move 1 step away from portal in a map > crash
using my main skill > crash

i hope you find a fix soon this is a NIGHTMARE

My game just started instant crash today, i played last no issue

i thought i give it a try and test it with the ggg launcher instead of steam, but i guess you can guess..

it is still terrible, i can't finish a single map without crash and still loosing xp because i die during this A LOT because mostly the crash happens if there is just a little bit of density.


i realy tried hard to keep calm but lets be honest
I AM PISSED AS HELL

the first time since over a year where i have time and enjoy the game and then out of a sudden i can't play anymore and ggg seems to not care at all, no signs for even reading this after more than 24h makes me realy mad!

.......2 days now and i still can't play
i already tested with lowering the setting and tested everything on default,with vulkan and dx12, noting change!

well something have changed, i get now crashed on almost every single loadingscreen, even to get in my hideout is a challenge in itself now.

it even crashes now just when using shield charge, it gets worse every day and i have the feeling this will lead me to uninstall the game for a LONG TIME, i am so frustrated already i cant even tell

almost 3 days now and still no reaction no sign of ggg is even reading.

for me it is 100% clear it is a ggg problem, its the only game this happens and as already stated it started a few leagues ago already.
imo this problem only can get bigger because everybody knows if i continue on a bugged system, the bugs only can get bigger.

it seems ggg have 0 clue how to handle this and so they just ignore it. it hurts because i love the game and have spent a pretty high 4digit number already over the years.

i am pretty sure it is eighter the serverstability or any weird combination of atlas tree and skills, idk, i am by no means an expert.

BUT IN THIS STATE THE GAME IS UNPLAYABLE FOR ME!!!

WHY IS GGG NOT REACTING?
ARE WE HERE WITH BLIZZARD OR WHAT? THEY ACT EXACTLY LIKE THIS... JUST IGNORING.

well i will look one last time in this report later today, if still no reaction from ggg i will just uninstall the game and play something that works, i feel fooled, ignored and tbh i am extremely pissed!
