Need a very simple loot filter
I'm in need of a little help. I want a very simple loot filter and I'm beating my head against a wall trying to make it. I'm also sure I'm just being dense and missing something obvious but I've just gotten fed up trying for the past few days.
What I want is a filter that filters out normal and magic weapons and armor. That's it just those things and shows EVERYTHING else. All currency all vendor recipes, all rings, amulets, belts, flasks, gems, EVERYTHING else. I know it's not optimal but it's the mess around filter that'd make me happy. I've been poking at it the past few days and did what I understood would make this filter and it won't even load. Like I said it's simple and I'm guessing I'm being dense so if someone can make this filter for me I'd be grateful. Last bumped on Sep 2, 2024, 8:34:42 PM

What do you use to make your filter? Also what about item levels, I assume those won’t matter for you?

It's pretty easy to do that on filterblade. If you are wanting to make your own perhaps share what you've got and someone who makes their own might be able to point out what is causing it not to load.

I don't know **** about filters:
Hide Rarity Normal AreaLevel >= 1 Continue ~ Adapt, Improvise and Overcome

There are quite a few vendor recipes which require a normal or magic weapon or armour item as a component, so I'm not sure what exactly you are looking for...
Assuming you want to hide ALL normal and magic weapons and armour and show everything else that would be pretty easy: " If you want the stuff for vendor recipes to be shown as well you could use: " With the rules for the vendor recipe stuff afterwards, for example: " |

Thanks to all for help and replies so far.
When they first came out with filters I knocked one out freehand I guess to do what I wanted and used that for a while till life and computer issues got me away from the game till now. So I never used filterblade or anything like that before. Also I think looking at the simple solution to my issue I may have gotten my original filter to work in spite of myself because that looks nothing like what I remember doing. I think I've got an idea or two now and I'm going to give it a crack and see what happens and get back to you guys. Thanks again. |

Nice one. I would prefer to do it myself as well, just a lot to learn while playing. Respect.

This is what I've gotten so far for what I'm wanting it to do. Tinkering still. I've missed more than a few leagues so I've not gotten up to date with new content stuff yet. It's like playing the first time again round a corner and have no idea what I'm looking at.
My issue seems to have been rushing trying to get things up and running and having bad memories of how I did it the first time years ago. # Hide armour and shields Hide Rarity <= Magic Class Helmets "Body Armours" Gloves Boots Shields Continue # Hide weapons and quivers Hide Rarity <= Magic Class "One Hand" "Two Hand" Bows Quivers Daggers Claws Wands Staves Sceptres Continue Show Quality > 1 Continue Show Sockets >= 5 Continue Show SocketGroup >= RGB Continue Show Identified True Continue Show ElderItem True Continue Show ShaperItem True Continue Show Corrupted True Thanks again for the help given it's gotten me on the right track to be able to make this work. Cool, you have inspired me to make my own as well. So it's working now?
|
|
Working yes and mostly due to the stuff kisatan posted showing me how to write stuff. The other stuff I'd seen online didn't click right to make it make sense to me I guess. My brain is like that sometimes. Going to be a work in progress for however long it is.
