Life Flask Recovery Bug

The life recovery mod (Recover an additional (x-x)% of Flask's Life Recovery Amount over 10 seconds if used while not on Full Life) on my life flask is not proccing for some reason, or is not being shown in the status bar if it is.

I've been proccing the flask mod by using Blood Rage, for the inherent HP loss, and then popping the life flask to immediately gain the recovery effect. This was working while I had life reserved (via Jack the Axe skill) and would show up as a 10s duration in the status bar immediately after activating the flask.

After upgrading my weapon, and regaining the reserved life, the recovery status is not showing at all and only seems to be having an effect after activating the flask immediately following a hit. The charges are still being deducted from the total flask charges and my HP is constantly showing as 1-2 less than max when Blood Rage is active.

Please let me know what I'm doing wrong! Everything was working perfectly before regaining the reserved life that was lost.

I wish I had a link for you, but this is a thing in the game, where you're treated as at full life when just a tiny bit below, at least specifically with Blood Rage and some recovery. There's some reason it works that way, which I can't remember (which is why I wish I had a link for you).

I'm not 100% sure that this mechanic is specific to blood rage, but that was the focus of the discussion where that mechanic was brought up.

IIRC it was in one of the game mechanic FAQs they do every once in a while.
Excellent, thank you! I'll scour the threads for this issue as I didn't know it had come up before. Much appreciated.

Update 27/08 - Unfortunately, I've been unable to find the thread mentioned above (so far). My temporary solution has been to use a simple Arrogance Support + Clarity link. This causes me to have 69 life reserved (nice) and allows for the recovery effect to take place as you're no longer considered "full health".
