Syndicate - Transportation not spawning 3.25
nope not how it went down. aisling was a transporation member (1 star) and she leveld up after that 1 encounter after i did the atlas thingy to get it back. also before i had 3 non leader members in transportation (beffore i did catharina to reset the board. and no transportation did not spawn either untill i did the atlas swap that i mentioned). while there were 3 non leader members (2 with 3 stars 1 with 2 stars) i did try to take their levels down or get some free members that had not been added to any of the branches. neither of those things worked. so even if what you are saying might be true it doesnt fit the patern of how it went down beffore.
to recap. this board was made after like 7-10 maps (after the board reset) before and after the reset of the board the transportation showed up once and only after i changed atlas 1 to atlas 2 did a map. switched back and transportation apeared once. i run 3 maps after to cheack if it will work now and it didnt. ofc might be bad luck but still kinda weird that it didnt spawn at all |

" I don't think this is completely correct. I have been trying to replicate it. It does seem that there is a mechanic that prevents the faction from having just the leader spawning the encounter, but I don't think it prevents the encounter from spawning. I think what happens is if only one other member is un-allocated, that member gets sent to the faction, so the leader is not spawning it alone. For example, normally if you have a member rank one and send them to interrogation, after they are released they will loose that rank and be sent into the pool, with no faction. However, if that member is the last in the faction and all other members are allocated, that member will return to the same faction as rank 1 when the event spawns, even if the still have multiple interrogation turns remaining (didn't monitor what happens to intelligence). I was unable to replicate the event not spawning due to only leader in faction. Setup I used for testing was all members allocated to research or intervention, except for, one leader on transport and one on fortification, and one additional member on each, with the member on fortification being rank 1. Then when running fortification, interrogate the one rank one member, so that only leader is left on fortification. Also no rival or trusted links between fortification leader and anyone else, just to be sure. I tried this multiple times, it seemed to always kick the interrogate member back onto fortification. No betrayal atlas passives allocated. Spawning with one betray scarab and no other scarabs. I ran somewhere 50+ maps to set up and test, the longest streak I got of either, was somewhere around 8, at which point I stated counting, but nothing anywhere near 50. I'm not particularly familiar with the betrayal mechanics, so it's possible there is something I have missed or am not understanding, but It seems to me that it is not possible block on of the factions, at least currently. If someone is aware of a way to do this I would be interested in knowing, as it would be helpful for farming. |
