verisium ore marked but is never mined

this is the third time this has happened. all monsters are killed tiki torches fly down, and nothing. I have done encounter 6 times, three have failed the same way so far. I wouldn't care except Ive done 100+ maps and only 6 spawns, with three out of six failing to mine. it has happened on other veins as well but the Verisium vein is the only one keeping me from upgrading anything. please fix. it is a known issue that has not been addressed that I have seen.

WOW it has happened again. this time a crimson ore vein. but both have been in the same map, must be something wrong with the sulphur vents map.
