1% death chance Atlas runners

Am I the only one doubting that 1% chance of death is actualy 1%?
I only run maps that have a 1% chance that an atlas runner dies because getting a rank 10 mapper is just insanly expensive (I get it, you need a money sink) but they are falling left right and center. I am just insanly unlucky or the numbers are not reflecting the right values.

I am not against atlas runners dying, but I want to make the correct decision.
Anyone else having the same?

I got same here. 1% = atlas runner always dies.
If it happens, the chance is 100%. That's how numbers work, lol.
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

Very helpful comment.

Well it seems more like they have a typo in the percentage because feels more like a flat 10% chance.

Friends of mine has only Rank 9 and 10 Mappers and they are still dying a lot.
Again , 1 runner dies after two white tier 1 map with 100% complition and 1% death
Second dies after 1 map. Its 100% broken. Need fix for sure.

1% death has 90% chance.

1% means things can happen, and for you they did. I lost so far only one mapper, so it is a lot less than 1%.
Biggest compliments for my crafted items - "bs, they must have been RMT'ed"

It actually is, that why on a roulette wheel you can hit a run of reds.

The law of large numbers shows this.

The problem you have isn’t the 1% is wrong but that rng on computers is pseudo rng (even with white noise true rng isn’t yet possible) and they hit ‘runs of reds’ more often than true rng would

This is also why my mappers, 8s 9s and iirc 1x10 also show 1% on rare t16 and, run all day deathless my rng has been lucky and yours and a few others has not

The death chance of Atlas Runners is completely broken. All league I've been running 5-6% death chance and they ALWAYS die before completing all 12 maps, most often after 1 or 2 maps.

Overnight I ran only 1% death chance maps and both map devices stopped at map #1 and map #4. I lost a T9 and T10 Atlas Runner. I spent 150k gold on getting another T9 Atlas Runner, resumed running maps and within 10 minutes it had already died in a 1% death chance map.

Just now I went afk for 2 hours and came back hoping for juicy loot, only 1%-2% death chance maps and map #1 killed a T9 on one, map #3 killed a T9 on another one...

There is no way everyone is complaining about it and the odds are right, EVERYONE is telling me that their runners keep dying.
It feels more like 1% per runner.
