Vinespike Cordial doesn't work with enduring hybrid flask
The build is unplayable because of the bug. It sometimes works, but I don't understand why it only works at times. (edit: found the culprit, explained it below)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDtnzBcbjKk You can see that there's not a single vine on the monsters. I had a full conversion setup with brutality to prevent myself from damaging them. Last edited by auspexa#1404 on Aug 9, 2024, 8:33:37 PM Last bumped on Sep 14, 2024, 9:58:10 PM

Further testing shows that the anoint only works when I'm not at full life and I use the flask, until I reach full life and it stops working again, as though I didn't have the enduring prefix at all.
The anoint says "DURING EFFECT OF ANY LIFE FLASK", not "while you are recovering life from a life flask" or something like that. Enduring hybrid flask should work with both Hardened Scars and Vinespike Cordial, because it's a life flask, and at least one of its effects persists after the player reaches full life. I'm STILL under the effects of a life flask, including the suffix I have on it. Is this intended or not? I'll delete my character and play something else if it is intended, because going Pathfinder simply makes me lose like 40% dps and makes me squishier. And please change the wording on Hardened Scars and Vinespike Cordial if this interaction is somehow intended and you want every poison player to play Pathfinder. From 3.14.0 patch notes
" And 3.16.0 patch notes " Ok, but this is not stated in the game So they killed this interaction to prevent people from having an easy, permanent uptime on Fortify with a hybrid flask, but forgot to change it back when Fortify was removed from the notable, and also forgot to change its description? And now, for some reason, Vinespike Cordial has the same restriction, which is again, not explicitly stated in the game? I'm still not sure if this is intended or not. But the interaction apparently was killed to prevent people from having permanent fortify, so can we have it back since that's not the case with Hardened Scars anymore? Or at least make Vinespike Cordial behave differently? It makes no sense to have 2 anoints on the tree that are only available to pathfinders. But again, I don't even know how these two work with Master Surgeon, because if it works as described in the patch notes, Pathfinders shouldn't be able to use it while they're at full life. Can someone clarify what's happening here? What exactly are the prerequisites for Hardened Scars and Vinespike Cordial? Which one is correct, the ingame descriptions, or the patch notes? If the ingame descriptions are correct, enduring hybrid flasks should work. Why don't they? I have an enduring hybrid flask with a crafted suffix, and I'm under the effect of a life flask even while I'm not recovering life from it. If the prerequisite is actually recovering life from a life flask, in other words, if the patch notes are correct, Pathfinders with Master Surgeon shouldn't be able to use these anoints unless they're not at full life, but they are able to use it while they're at full life and not actually recovering life from a life flask. How? Last edited by auspexa#1404 on Aug 10, 2024, 2:51:55 AM
