Annihilating Light Interaction with Purity of Elements Bug

First I apologize that I accidentally posted this in the wrong forum a few minutes ago. I believe I have the right one now. I’m on PS5. The bug is: when you equip annihilating light, it not only drops your resistances by the stated amount, it also causes purity of elements to only give 1/3rd of what is is supposed to give. I am almost certain this is an unintended interaction.

Not sure if I understand it well enough, but Annihilating Lights Resistance modifier isn't just a static minus 60-70 to your resistance, but rather all of your resistance sources are reduced by 60-70%. So things like purity will only give you around 30% or so of it's value.

Same with all your other pieces of gear as well, if you have a body armor that has +40 fire res, then you'll only get about 30% of it.

That’s very odd. Something along those lines should be explicitly stated on the item. It reads as though it simply removes a flat 60-70 res. As it is right now, I’m losing like 90.

Disregard my last reply. I understand now. It’s just confusing how it is worded. I went to the wiki and got an explanation there. It’s working as intended.
