I have the same issue. I'm at 18/30 quotas, with available quotas asking for 100,000's of ore. It's absurd.
Had I known, I would have cleared the challenge before upgrading my town. Alas... Ideally, GGG would change the Ambitious Assignments challenge requirement to 5/6, instead of 6/6. That way those who were caught out by the upgrade system can still complete it. |

100k ore is only 20k bars. Bars count 5x as much. It's not as bad as it seems.

I'm in the same situation, I upgraded a lot of my stuff, fulfilled the most recent quota of 2000 wheat and 1300 iron. Now it wants 29,000 verisium, 34,000 corn, and 79,000 pumpkins. That's an insane jump! The scaling is completely unrelated to prior turn-ins, it must be related to shipping level.

No idea why OP wiped the thread (kind of annoying), but I've found an easy solution, so I'll share it.
If you create an SSF character, it spawns a fresh Kingsmarch (without the upgrades). It takes less than an hour to get the mine, farm and shipyard up and running, and then you can whizz through the quotas. The quotas are very low. Send your ship off, logout, then check back 40 minutes later. Repeat. Easy. |
