Dead worker still counts for total workers number

One of my mappers died and total workers are still displayed as 60/60 despite the fact that i have 59/60.

This has happened to me as well , I have had 2 workers die at sea , and my count of total current workers never changes. I had 32 before they died and I have 32 now after their demise.
