Custom Item filter broken, Requires full re-install.
This is the 4th or 5th league in a row where this has happened.
Previous thread from last league: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3511148 There were no changes to filters in the last few days. I logged in, and my custom filter suddenly doesn't work. The default and built in NS filters work. It might be some sort of caching issue. The only solution is a full reinstall, which is a huge pain. One thing I did differently a couple days ago was that I put the PS5 into sleep mode while the game was running. I came back the next day, woke from sleep mode, and restarted the game. In this play session, my custom filter at first didn't work, but when I reloaded via L3 in the options, it kicked back in. However, the next time I started POE, it was completely broken. Doesn't reload. Switching back and forth between filters does nothing. If finding the root cause of the problem is difficult, could we at least have some way to reset filters? Its been months and its still happening.... So annoying.
I have a slow internet aswell and each time the filters bricks i loose a good day or two for the reinstall |

Perhaps as a workaround, instead of a full re-install: un-follow or remove (be sure to copy / backup the filter code!) the custom filter, then start PoE and see if the filter is still in the list - it shouldn't. Quit the game completely, then re-follow / add the custom filter. Start the game again and -hopefully- the item filter shows up and is working.

CUSTOM FILTERS NEED TO BE UPDATED AND IMPROVED EVERY SINGLE SEASON AS THE GUY WHO RUNS FILTERBLADE UPDATES AND IMPROVES THE FILTER ACCORDING TO THE SEASON AND SOMETIMES SOME OF THE PROPERTIES ON CERTAIN ITEMS CHANGE YOU NEED TO GO TO FILTER BLADE AND DO THE FOLLOWING
LOAD UP UR CURRECT FILTER YOU WANT TO USE GO TO SAVE AS NEW FILTER AND THEN ONCE YOU ARE AT THE END LOOK AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN AND IT WILL TELL U IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING THAT WILL CONFLICT WITH YOURE FILTER WORKING IF SO THEN YOU NEED TO CHANGE WHAT ITS DOING/CONFLICTING AND THEN SAVE THIS WILL SORT EVERYTHING OUT AS THIS IS WHAT IT DID FOR ME AND MINE HAS BEEN FINE ALL SEASON HOPE THIS HELPS IF U NEED MORE HELP THEN EITHER WATCH A YT VIDEO OR MESSAGE ME ON HERE IM PRETTY GOOD AS SORTING THE FILTERS OUT AS I MAKE MULTIPLE EACH SEASON BUT UNFOTUNATLY UR FILTER LOADING HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH GGG ITS A EXTERNAL 3RD PARTY PIECE OF SOFTWARE |

Once the game is in a state where the custom filters don't work, nothing seems to fix it. I've tried, deleting, recreating, copying, using published filters from the item filter ladder, even manually creating a filter through the POE website. Nothing works. I've tried clearing cache/rebuild database on PS5. Still nothing. It's like the installation is in a bad state and the only fix is to completely wipe out the game files and reinstall.

Same thing here. Custom filters aren't working and I've already tried resyncing, saving as a new filter, completely deleting all of my custom filters and making another from scratch. Nothing is working and if I have to uninstall the game to fix it, then I'm just not gonna reinstall it at this point...This sucks...

Same issue here, started just today, no update on filter nor game client as far as I know. Only solution I know of is to reinstall the game.
Issue is definitely on the client side, not the fault of the 3rd party website as Mr Capslock would have you believe, otherwise reinstalling wouldnt fix the issue. |
