Keep Dying to some sort of degen

Heya,

I am playing an Earthshatter Bezerker, going well so far, but every now and then I die to something that drains my life really quickly. I have pots that remove and give immunity to bleed (and corrupted blood) and also the node on the tree that says monsters cannot leech life off me.

It happens occasionally on rare monsters, essences, and also in the Bramble Map bosses. From a bit of research, I think it could be a Physical DOT.
Is there any way to mitigate this other than taking Soul of Arakaali and Ralakesh (which still have to do)?

If it's physical dot endurance charges. If you have a flask that has most of those covered it might be something else though. Could be chaos dot, could be ignite if not immune. It's very hard to check debuff icons while trying to stay alive but it will give you some indication. I think one of the bramble valley bosses might poison, its the small yellow one that does dot I think.

Yeah I did that for a while, too much drain on the PC now but was good for learning.

There's other types of chaos dot as well, I think some of the essences you are talking about might do various sorts. Chaos res will cover them all so thats proabably best starting point. For just poison you could get a poison flask, soul of shakari on minor pantheon, there are some options on the tree as well but might be expensive path wise. Things like evasion can help as well, because your getting hit less.
