Lightning Strike Boss Dmg feels super weird

I don't know if I'm just blind, but I don't see any reason why my DPS would be so low. So, I killed Exarch and Eater preeetty easily, not the fastest, but decent enough. When I went on to try Maven, it felt like 0 dmg, checked PoB and it says 4mil (if the melee double hit thing is actually a thing, I guess 8million, which isnt even true boss dps cause of the slayer nodes), which seems way too low to me for my gear - obviously not the best, but tldr 2 tamings, 800dps claw, 6L with almost all lvl 20
Just found some minor fixes like gem quality, but in total wouldn't give me more than 1-1.5mil dps
If anyone can see what I might've spec'd or geared wrong, I would love to know.

I don't really see anything wrong with the build, this is a meta build at the moment isn't it? Are your frenzy charges dropping off at all in the fight? You should be able to have them up with mark mastery, but if they do drop off you loose half your damage. From my very limited experience playing LS with much less damage than this, I would think the fight would be a little annoying whith low damage because of how much she jumps around and hit damage not continuing when she moves. Still though, with that amount of damage I would think the fight shouldn't take long. Have you seen anyone else doing it notably faster than you are? Lvl 91 aslo still has room for improvement, so if you're use to doing this fight on say lvl 96, 5 more damage nodes would make a bit of a difference, along with levelled/qualled gems. How slow are we talking?

Couldn't check every phase, but first phase on its own 30s.

There is a trick to getting it to double hit isn't there? Can't remember exactly, but you have to attack next to boss rather than directly on? Or does it just always do two strikes?

Yea exactly, thats what I meant with that. :D

Edit: finally beat Maven with some improved movement, but would still be interesting to know

Yep movement helps a lot with that fight. I'll give it a go when I level up and see how much longer it takes for me on 1mil dmg slam build.
