Mining Worker bug

I put all workers into producing Verisium Ore but instead I got Bismuth Ore. Has anyone run into the same problem?

Yeah, I'm having the same issue (though I have miners in other types as well). Marked Verisium ore, got ore of another kind in "Ore to mine"

Miners do not generate ore. They mine the ore that you mark for them in map. If you set all of your miners to Verisium ore, and they run out of Verisium ore to mine, they will work on other marked ore until you find mine or they run all of out marked ore and switched to idle status.
If you are trying save Verisium Ore for upgrades, remove ALL of your smelters from any assigned jobs. Collect all of the ore you need, finish the upgrades, then assign them smelters to anything and they will work through the backlog of ore converting it into bars. Otherwise they will likely smelt all of your ore faster than you can generate enough for the upgrades. |
