Unwanted log off resulting in Item loss

Salutation, I was enjoying the development of Kingsmarch making my way towards the foundry when I was logged off. I logged back on just after only to realize that my main weapon disappeared with my gems on it.. It seems there is no way to get it back, but could there be any compensation ?
