Bloodscent doesn't generate rage

Cluster notable states; "Gain 2 Rage on Hit with Axes or Swords".

Tried using the passive on a Slayer Flicker Strike build with a Paradoxica (sword), however it is not generating any rage with hits.

im having the same issues, im using a thrusting "sword" as indicated by the mod itself and im not generating rage....this was to be key damage to my build for bossing and im just stuck until its fixed or i just reroll...i put too much time into this build to reroll and i'd like to see it do good, please respond to this post GGG.
