Unexpected behavior between Saboteur Triggerbots and Voltaxic Burst

I haven't found a clarification yet if this is intended behavior or a bug.

Voltaxic Burst lingers on the ground and explodes at the location it was cast at, when cast by Triggerbots instead of attaching to the Player or the Triggerbots themself.

With this wording it would make sense that the attaching mechanic should still work, or am I missing something there?

I hope this gets looked into, would make the skill a lot more usable

Logically, it should follow the same at Blade Vortex to me and they cast it but instead of being around the Triggerbots it applies to the player.

You may get better visibility with video and a bug report number.

Edit: Dug deeper and found multiple threads already and one from staff forwarding the bug, but looks like either skipped over in the queue or deemed not a bug.
