Is it worth to come back?

I just checked that I haven't played since December '23, but even then only for a second and left again due to the mechanics of the new league.
Long story short, I read about a bunch of nerfs (yet again, stone age old story with GGG) in the latest changelogs, about removed map masters, and divination card changes, but the question at hand is: Is it worth to come back for someone who played the game since 2014 and has seen all the war crimes against all the bosses, and has played the game like mad until they lost interest in it? Looks like you already did, judging by that 1 challenge you currently have.
There's really no other way than to just try it yourself. People here have a huge variety of opinions, which is good but not really useful. | |

I mean maybe at the start of next league?
THis is probably as dead as PoE has been in the last.. 6 years? But league starts are still fun and although recent leagues are perhaps a tad lackluster, the core game and atlas are rather strong right now. | |

I want to say 'yes', but at the same time this league's mechanics are pretty lackluster so it's a bad league to try to re-ignite your passion for PoE. Also the league is pretty dead already. I'd say - try playing next league.

Game is still fun also extra atlas trees let you try out almost anything. Necro league has a few items that will probably go legacy that would be nice to pick up like the mana helms and unique stuff. I would say just level a character to end of story to unrust and see if you want to keep playing it. Game is fairly dead right now though so trading is ruff unless you find something really good. Again just play through campain and see if you want to keep going should only take like 10 hours max.
