Just saw the trailer pop on my psn.
Looks pretty good. Couch coop. Cross play/progression. Bit indie jank with the cinematics but fuck PoE wouldn't be PoE if the cinematics looked too good. Gameplay itself looks like a nice evolution from PoE 1 and I reckon it'll do just fine on console as a second choice for Diablo IV players who burn through each season, as even a casual can do with no real effort. It'll probably come down to whether or not GGG can onboard more fluidly and enjoyably this time. PoE 1 showed its hand far too early for a lot of people. I have no time or sympathy for PoE 1 players who see PoE 2 as a bad thing. Either you supported GGG and appreciate how far they have come and want them to succeed, or you were always in it just for you. Which is fine, but GGG deserve their true and proper sequel to PoE 1 and I could not be happier for them. To know in some way that my support didn't just go into one game but into a series.
