Steam / Mac client not starting

This morning Steam did a quick update of PoE and now the game won't start.

I'm running on an M2 MacBook Pro. It worked fine so far.

Same problem for me.

I believe this is the same as https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3525250 (which has more details).

After newest update crashes on start !!

reverify files do not work.
