PoB confuses me again

Confused all day, unsure all night.

Looking for a better weapon.Searched for poison DoT.
On first glance the new weapon gives me +30% poison DPS.
After equipping it drops.

Happens all the time and i dont know what to trust.
Whats the right way to check for items?

Your blood edge is a pneumatic dagger which has this "All Damage from Hits with This Weapon can Poison", which is presumably where 90% of your chance to poison came from.

I know.
But what is the preview worth if something like this is not calculated?

Not sure what that means, but you can compare what your poison stats are when switching between the items in Path of Building by going to the calcs tab and selecting the skill you use and check what the poison section says.
