Mark on Hit not applying Marks when in the same linkgroup as Battlemage's Cry

I had the following gemsetup in my 4 linked boots:

Mark on Hit - Assassin's Mark - Call to Arms - Battlemage's Cry

I noticed that the Assassin's Mark never gets applied to rare or unique Enemies.
In my Skillbar Assassin's Mark is greyed out.
After removing Battlemage's Cry from that linkgroup Assassin's Mark triggers again.
Solved it for now by splitting the links into two groups.

Skills can only have a single trigger. Skills with multiple triggers are disabled.

Mark on Hit is a trigger for Assassin's Mark. Battlemage's Cry is also a trigger for Assassin's Mark--because it's a spell. While supported by both, neither works.
