How to mirror an item via trade?

Good Morning Exiles,

When I woke up this morning I had a really good feeling that I would find a mirror today.

So, in preparation of getting a mirror, how do I safely copy the wand I want from another player without getting robbed?

Looks like you dreamed of a mirror drop. It's time to wake up. :)

Find a trusted seller.

Hope the person just has mirrors from previous services and makes a copy and trades you the wand for the mirror+fee.

Ask for some sort of collateral.
