Cross Contamination - Capture a Beast holding an essence is currently not possible

I tried using all the scarabs including one which puts all the monsters into essences and it seems currently beasts cannot hold essences. Multiple other people also claim to have tried this with ~ 100 maps.

Same.. run about 50 maps with scarabs, can't figure out what is wrong since on other leagues i would go farm some essences and a wild einhar would show up to ruin your day.

i was thinking after 30 maps there should be something wrong lol, i gave up

Yep Essence Scarab of Calcification+Bestiary Scarab doesn' work

I unfortunately do not have any evidence, so it is hearsay. But After trying for quite some time (it was hectic) but I do believe I captured one in an essence about 15 minutes ago, and the challenge did not unlock.
