Uber Cortex

Tried one uber cortex and it didnt drop a single synth rare. Did they remove this entirely from his drop pool (not on the tree anymore)?

If so than there is no point in running that map (imo). If this is the case than Im getting the feeling with uber fragments for uber fights and this cortex change that uber cortex be pointless to run (sure a few uniques are worth farming, but the synth rares made it enjoyable because you never knew if you were going hit big)
