Witch is so much villain in a whole of characters

Today I have end the storyline gameplay as Witch.
I have never thought that this B(W)itch has so evil personality like that.

Ya man she like kidnapped and killed children. None of the exiles are 'good' in the normal sense save maybe the templar.
I laughed when I hit a completely destroyed area and my witch was all "I wish I had done this".
General discussion gaming forums are almost always a cesspit of ignorance and trolls.

templar insinuates he has done some awfull things in the name of god too, so hes no saint either
I'd say the Ranger, Scion and Marauder are about as 'good' as any of them come, they killed only in their own defense and protections, baring undisclosed actions (since most of their pasts aren't exactly detailed out). Duelist isn't evil, he killed a noble in an era in which dueling is both legal and a past-time. But we're well within the grey with him. Templar's an iffy one, he's exiled for going against the order, but he's somewhat implicit in the templar actions up until then, and it's hard to tell just what he helped do before he said enough. It's possible he's always been a disenter, tasked with stuff on the sidelines until finally exiled. And then the Witch of couse is in the darkest end of the spectrum. But in some defense, the town she targeted with her Pied Piper impersonation attacked her first, "They took my home with fire, so I took their children", though I've always taken the former as the coven that taught her, more than a literal house. Obviously even in retaliation, this still puts her at the dark end of the good / evil spectrum. Still manages to be a better person than both Avarius and Dominus.

But Wraeclast is not the place where good fight's evil, but complex and dubious clash against each other.
I love her. I love her evil, yet totally sane approach to all of it.
She wants power, and she's not afraid to say it; once she got a taste of divinity she blatantly claimed she wants it.
She's down enough to Earth to know when she's arrogant; Kitava beating her the first time made her reflect.
She's cold blooded enough to want to burn down Oriath, and she's petty enough to blame Utula for taking that chance from her.
And she's funny as fuck with her humorous sarcastic lines: "Ralakesh, you could have been anyone, and you chose...Greust?"

It's rare to have such an evil character be so likable.

I mean, that's substantially easier to achieve when the actions of the 'evil character' are identical to the actions of any other character.

If we actually controlled a Witch 'taking' kids the reactions would be different.

Personality plays a big role. This particular Witch is likeable because of her personality. She could burn down Lioney's Watch and I would still like her. I bet she'd do it in a sassy way with sarcastic commentary on top.
anyone throughout history who has been called a witch seriously
has had evil accusations thrown at them... at least our witch earned
those accusations, and it wasn't ergot poisoning this time.
