Suggestion for NPC interactions

When talking to an NPC, the player could get a stacking de/buff that increases over several seconds, causing them to have a reduced aggro range, and take and receive less damage. This would help with the issue of being unable to safely talk to NPCs while limiting abuse cases while still allowing other players to continue in other parts of the map.

If it took several seconds to achieve immunity or near-immunity and also reduced the player's damage equally (as well as minions, totems, traps, etc), it should avoid encouraging people to abuse NPCs as an active defence, while protecting players from situations where monsters wander in and start attacking after the NPC interaction begins.
