3.23 Mana + Offering stacking Lightning Conduit Necro | Nuke the screen with 1 button

Lightning conduit necromancer

Build video and me nervously scrambling through the build

Pro's and cons
Spoiler
Pros:
Fast casting
Big aoe clears
Frostblink at mach 10 when you get an acceleration shrine
about 10-20m dps on a decent budget
block capped
5k energy shield
Hard hitting spell with 10% instant energy shield leech
about 4-5k arcane cloak shield
No more 2 buttons to cast lightning conduit
Shines in breaches / high density maps
FUN!
Can spec intro crit versions if you want and drop the cast speed offering.

Cons:
Screen clutter deluxe
Requires to ramp up the cast speed for a few seconds before blasting away. See it like setting of a lawn mower of death
Requires some tinkering with mana cost reductions to work
Can't do highly wildwood juiced maps like past 4-5 thousands. Way too tanky enemies in t16
Hard hitting enemies - if not blocked - will sneeze on you and you fall over
Can do bosses, but its not great. Defenitely not uber viable, nor HC viable in this state

Why necromancer and not elementalist?
Spoiler
Because I wanted to stack offering effect. And since we are abusing corpse pact for the shock, then why not abuse the cast speed we get as well? And it was the only way to make it a one button build - dont have to rely on short aoe lightning orb / brands / shock prolif to nuke the entire screen.

How does this work?
Spoiler
Lightning conduit consumes all shocks on ALL nearby enemies in a pretty big radius and hits them for a high base damage and x% MORE damage per 5% shock on the enemy.

Corpse pact grants us base 15% shock. By using the shock effect nodes on the tree, cluster jewels and the mastery we will get up to 200-220% effect. the lightning mastery has a node that says 'increases and reductions to maximum mana also apply to shock effect at 30% of their value. This will boost all corpses we summon to have 65% shock effect to nearly all enemies (except the shock resistent enemies).

Corpse pact also grants 2% increased cast speed per corpse you have summoned recently. Which then takes us to the next step:

Kitava's thirst helmet with shock corruption just to boost is slightly more, will cast all spells that are linked in the helmet whenever we spend 100 mana up front on a spell. This way we can automate corpses and the shocks required for lightning conduit. No need for a second button to awkwardly cast some orb or brand to shock. And the AoE of the shock is almost like 70% of the screen.

By linking Lightning conduit to archmage support will give the spell a much higher mana cost based on your maximum mana. If you have around 5-6k mana, it will bypass the 100 mana cost by a large margin. Adding inspiration support and some % less mana cost from the tree, rings, jewels and mana potions will lower the cost to about 100-150 and the rest of your skills to 0. Allowing you to tailor the mana cost needs by yourself by just adding quality to inspiration support to lower the costs or archmage support to increase the mana cost so it hits just above 100 mana.

Adding 2 offerings to the helmet will also auto cast them to consume all the corpses you have generated, granting you tons of cast speed or crit chance if you rather want that and lots of block. You cant use all 3 offerings as there won't be enough bodies for them to consume. But spell cascade linked to desecrate will quickly ramp up the ammount of corpses you consume to give you that 200% cast speed from corpse pact. That will make it so you will barely feel the 50% chance of summoning a corpse when casting lightning conduit as you will be casting spells so fast.

Gear
Spoiler

On the rare items focus on high energy shield, chaos resistances and mana.

Ivory tower grants us more energy shield and chaos protection as we will be reserving nearly all of our life

Ashes of the stars amulet will boost our damage by adding more damage per 5% shock effect

Prism guardian + life reservation mastery to reserve all the high ES cost auras to our life

Leash of oblation belt to allow having more than 1 offering

Flasks
Spoiler

The reason why we only use 3 flasks is because we can abuse the traitor keystone given from a brutal restraint jewel Denoted service of # dekhara in the akhara of BALBALA. Wit the right seed you can get 20% more flask charges gained, allowing you to get 9 flask charges every 5 seconds - permanently sustaining the flasks

Wildwood ascendancy
Spoiler
The primalist charms allows you to get up to 30% offering effect and up to 5% maximum mana as extra energy shield per charm. Making the cast speed and survivability even better

Skill links
Spoiler
Helmet:
Desecrate linked to Spell cascade support.
Bone offering + flesh offering not linked to anything

Gloves:
Zealotry linked to eternal blessing
Clarity linked to arrogance

Weapon:
Conductivity and Frostblink of wintry blast linked to faster casting.
(Frostblink of wintry blast has to cooldown, but slower cast time. But you won't feel that once you have revved up those 100 corpses for 200% cast speed.)

Body armour:
Lightning conduit linked to arcane surge, archmage, inspiration, added lightning damage and elemental focus (preferebly awakened gems)

Boots:
Arcane cloak and vaal righteous fire linked to increased duration and efficacy (just to boost the duration of them. Don't use the normal version of RF - only the vaal as you dont have the regen to sustain it)

Shield:
Wrath, tempest shield and Discipline

Changelog
Spoiler
22nd of february 2024, updated PoB. Had a useless passive and a node accidently allocated. Changed the caster mastery and moved it to lightning pen node instead as Im personally using the caster mastery to open breach hands
