Thank you Affliction, no more heavy and leather belts for us

As the wife and I started our Sunday session, it just came out.

"Hey, what do you think about turning off heavy and leather belts from the loot filter?"

It was agreed upon and couldn't have been happier.

Funny enough we dropped an apothecary the very next map.

Heavy and leather belts will be the first thing to be removed from my loot filter on the first pass next league.

We get it bro, you have a wife. No need to brag.
You're removing both the excitement for and potential of finding arguably the two most exciting items in the game. Headhunter being the most fun and MB being the most build enabling.

Admittedly I've only dropped one raw of each this league but those were my only raw drops and I let out the most embarrassing squeaks of my life on each dropping.

Surely you only have 7 or so bases that can drop?

I'm struggling to come up with new goals to keep me playing this game.

As someone who found their only MB as an unidentified heavy, good luck. ;)
No shade to the OP (I think) but I don't understand this post and unlike most posts where it seems like someone is trying to "competence signal" (if you will,I don't know what else to call it. bragging about video game acomplishment I guess?) I couldn't just ignore it and move on because my curiosity is getting the better of me.

Are you saying that HH and Magebloods are so common in juiced maps (which they kinda are under the right juicing/meta/grouping strats) that you needed to remove them because they were "clutter". Or is the intent to be ironic because you could mouse over thousands of these bases without ever seeing a unique you valued and this erased any illusion that they would ever be MB or HH? Thus allowing you to filter the base with peace of mind?

Probably the main thing thats giving me mixed signals is the fact that "humble brags" on the forums are ubiquitous and rarely self aware. Usually having to do with unironic chest puffing over how trivializing, repetitious and meta one can be at clearing maps with the right setup/group/strat. OTOH there's the last line which leads me to think the post is ironic, because affliction is surely going away forever and next league is almost certainly going to be a dopamine fast, thus even LESS reason to indulge the fantasy of hitting POE's powerball lotto.

Side note: this is my personal view as well fortunately I most often play dopamine fast leagues like SSF and Ruthless where a fuckin' meginords girdle can be an exciting drop LOL.

I guess its obviously the latter but this forum has just ridiculous amounts of the former so its not actually that cut and dried.

I meant that our duo agreed that we are OK with not having a chance at dropping an HH or MB as long as we didn't have to look at any more belts.

Although many more belts are dropping this league than previously, they still drop in abundance in other leagues when juicing and running a proper scarab setup.

One of the parts of our conversation was about it being a slight annoyance, the other was how many divines have we probably lost over the past few years doing quick looks at all the belts.

Since we share the same loot filter when we are duo'ing the conversation had to occur regarding their removal.
Imagine if mirrors/wisdom scroll and all in between dropped as "currency"
sounds like madness to me
