Portal not clickable; unable to leave map

After a Hydra kill, after which I died, I reentered the map to get the Fragment. I picked it up and died again to some hydra adds that survived. Reentered map again, killed the mobs, wanted to leave the map but wasn't able to.

Opening new portals didn't solve the problem, I tried lots of times within the arena of the hydra and outside of it. Also I probably used a portal gem to open the first portal that didn't work (not guaranteed, though, just highly likely)
