Request for information

Hello.
I would like to ask for information about Path of Exile 1's future updates.
I'm considering returning to the game after a break, and I'm planning to create a new account and purchase a few microtransactions.
With the release of Path of Exile 2 sometime in the future, will the first game keep receiving new updates, challenge leagues and cosmetic rewards for challenge completions?

Whatever you purchase for Path of Exile 1, will carry over to number 2. I'd assume that's within reason, for example a skill MTX for PoE2 probably won't carry over to PoE1, and vice versa.

Both games will be developed as one but seperatly going forward. Expect that if something is unique to each game, the MTX won't be able to be used in either/or. But if the MTX shares the same, then it'll be available for both.

Stash tabs will be carried over tho.
