is there a way to reset progress in league?

I'd like to practise racing a bit, but sometimes get confused if I did specific trial or not since everything has been completed before. Is it enough if I migrate/delete all Affliction SSF characters for everything to reset?

Just make character on trade league and practice there. Since you didnt play there, it will be fresh.

That doesnt really fix the issue. I guess making new accounts every 3 attempts is best I can think of for now

The "Migrate All" option is meant to migrate all progress from SSF to Trade, including things like stash tabs and league-wide progress (things like Lab trials, Delve, Heist, etc)
You can select an SSF character and click the "Migrate All" button to the left, or use the League Migrations button (the >> button at character select) to migrate SSF to Trade. |
