Crashing with duo play

Playing as a buffer for my friend playing scourge arrow. Sometimes if he goes off screen my client will just completely close to desktop with no indications of any lag prior.

Specs of pc should be more than enough to run the game:
4080
i9 13700k
32gb ddr5 ram

It only seems to be me crashing so I can only assume its me being off screen to him shooting his scourge arrow off causing said crash. But it's getting really annoying regardless using up loads of portals per map just to play with him.
