Dual Strike of Ambidexterity not working as described with varunastra

So Varunastra counts as all weapon types in the game, and we are able to use dual strike of ambidexterity with Varunastra and one-handed axe. Then why should it not work when I have Varunastra and one-handed sword? According to the description of dual strike of ambidexterity, we can use it only when wielding two different melee weapons. But then why does it work in the first case when Varunastra counts as all weapon types meaning they are considered an axe, implying that the active skill should not work but it does. The first case is no different to wielding two one-handed axes, but the active skill works. But in the second scenario it does not. Please fix the above bug an enable the usage of swords and Varunastra for dual strike of ambidexterity.
