Died in a Ultimatum encounter in a Glacier map then it turned into a The Tower of Ordeals map

I was wandering in a Glacier t1 magic map, found a Ultimatum encounter and started it. I instantly died in the encounter and when I tried to re-enter the map it had turned into The Tower of Ordeals layout, without letting me go back to the glacier I was at before, killing the map.

I had used an portal scroll at the viridian woodland (the affliction area) before I had runned out of light there in that map, maybe that's what caused this.
