Just move the transfigured gems to the vendor
As it is its just a boring rng timesink to run through normal lab X amount of times till you get the gem you want. Its not hard or any sort of a challenge or feel rewarding when you finally get it, just relief.

I said the same thing when they were locked behind Heist. |

" at least heist required you to get a blueprint, right now its just buy a bunch of lvl 1 gems from the vendor for a few wisdom scrolls and run through normal lab. |

I don’t mind where they put them as long as it’s not too niche a location, but the randomness is just as silly here as it was for enchantments.
I feel like Diablo 3’s six coloured baubles for each skill are actually a pretty good analogue to draw inspiration from - have a family of several collectible crystals that either convert the gem directly or slot into the device to give you that outcome. |

The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

Yea, honestly the heist gems, and helmet enchants were not really that big of a thing, but the jewel changes were build defining things and honestly they should just be easily available.

Just put Mageblood in the vendor. As it is its just a boring rng timesink to run through maps X amount of times till you get enough cards to get one.

" Hello, Monica? Yeah, this is Kettle |

" Under that logic, the argument chain would end in "Just put every single item in the vendor. As it is its just a boring rng timesink to run through actually play the game X amount of times till you get enough fragments/shards/orbs/cards/incubators to get them. Venezuela es mi barrio, y odio mi barrio.

" That's a false equivalency and you know that. A high end unique that improves any build is not the same as a gem that provides a skill that your build is likely built around. Alternate quality gems were fine as Heist rewards because the vast majority of them were just minor buffs or tweaks to existing gems you could easily get, but the transfigured gems are all unique enough that the same logic can't apply. If you want to play a build with transfigured gems it's advisable to just grind with a leveling build and swap later after either trading for the gem or farming it yourself, and many people don't like that gameplay loop. They would rather get the skill they want to play with as early as possible, rather than doing something else just for the opportunity to have fun later.
