Vulkan- Error Device Lost

I have been getting this error for the past two leagues or so. The game crashes randomly, regardless of playtime. Directx 11 or 12 is not an option for me because they run terribly on my PC. This issue was first brought up on a thread over a year ago and the same thread has been getting replies to this day. Would love to know if anyone has solutions.

Ive been getting the same problem starting this season.

It has only happened in towns so far with Vulkan. Running Dx11/12 I also have very much lower performance(unplayable freezes).

Hardware:
i7-8700k
RTX2080 with latest drivers(546.29)
Running the game of a fairly new m.2 drive so should not be the problem

Same issue. Very frustrating
