Singapore Server Latency Spike in Random Instances

Hi i've played poe for 5 years and so with the same ISP and same computer desktop system and is experiencing random latency spikes 40ms - 80000ms in each time i enter an instance which i estimate there's a 1/3 chances i get this random spike.. Usually I just backtrack to the previous stage and Ctrl + left click at the entrance to create a new instance it should be okay.

This thing happened for the first time starting from Blast From the Past event, (Played Krangled event its completely fine), until today i'm still having this issue. Did lots of reddit, googled, youtube guides for latency spikes but to no avail, even uninstalled, redownloaded and installed the standalone game itself. But still i'm here. please help, It's not fun at all playing with spikes, and im using Lockstep network settings now, which the only difference in using Predictive is that i can still run around where everything (monsters, npc, other players in town) are frozen. Please assist and advice thank you!

Yeah bruh, I'm experiencing the same issue. The Singapore server has been reported 4 times in the past week, but there has been no response at all :(
Try this, i found on a forum here from someone earlier. it worked for me at least for this 1 hour in the morning. still monitoring..

QUOTE Draroth:

"Hey guys,

i had the same Issues, for me the following helped:

1. Change DNS to 8.8.8.8 (google dns server)
2. activated IPv6
3. (in CMD wiht Admin rights) ipconfig /flushdns
4. (in CMD with Admin rights) netsh winsock reset catalog
5. Restart PC

would be nice to know if that helps someone

best regards

Edit: did not fix it 100%
but it is less frequent for me now

Edit2: switcht now in game Option-> Game -> Networking Mode to Predictive and now all almost all spikes are gone"

I'm facing the same issue... almost unplayable when it occurs. This problem only started happening for me after the recent Krangled event.

I have been keeping an eye on it for some time now and observed that it consistently lags when connected to these two instance servers:
203.27.106.35
203.27.106.43

Update: okay changing DNS to 8.8.8.8 doesnt really work out as well. im using Japan server its much more stable and the 80ms+ isnt noticable (still it spikes up to 10000ms in lion eye town act 1) good luck fellow exiles!
I just tested using my personal hotspot (GOMO which uses Singtel's infra i guess?), it solves the lagging issue. my home wifi is m1, Gonna terminate the m1 ASAP
yeah bro gomo is under singtel, im using m1 (ethernet) as well. for past 5-6 years no problem using m1 to play poe, but after blast from the past event the latency spikes started going crazy. can we confirm its due to m1 that everyone is experiencing the spikes?

my contract is over soon i can terminate and sign up in another isp if this is the case.
At least there's a temporary solution, which is to use a VPN. It worked for me.
