Is POE Awakened really safe?

Hello there, im new to this game, and some of the player recommend me to use POE Awakened for checking price
Is this overlay really OK to this game, and not bannable? since i read some thread that claiming get banned and some thread that still fine

He didn't get banned for awakened trade he got banned for something else; Hell EVERY streamer that does trade would have been banned think about that dude.

It makes price checking faster so why would it bannable.
I wouldn't play without it.

Me and my friends use APT since it cameout,everyone is ok,and doing good.

Opening browser and use trade site to check prices by writing everything by hand are definately less cumbersome and bloated,especialy if you don't have second monitor.

It's fine, anyone stating it got them banned in the last few years is grasping at straws or misdirecting you because in the past for a limited time it did result in bans.

The mod was fine to use, for quite a while, the mod developer had made some changes and it resulted in a few people basically killing everyone else's ability to trade, GGG did try to ask that you not use it at that time but people just ignored that so bans were handed out, almost every single one was lifted and the mod was fixed (there were a few perma bans but those were justified), since then it has never been the cause of a ban, as shown by thousands of people using it for years.
