I got scammed, anything I can do?

I was preoccupied with something and kinda slept on the wheel on a trade, and didn't notice the enlighten gem replaced with a lvl3 instead of a lvl4 after the guy cancelled the trade the first time. I never had anything like that happen in my 11 years of playing, so I wasn't alert at all. Now this asshole called [Removed by Support], has my 9divs, which is 1/3 of everything i made past week(I'm not that great a player).

Is there anything I can do?

Well, you can't call them out on the forums.
It has been used to start witch hunt before. Someone else might accuse you of being a scammer.
What you can do is contact GGG support, even better if you have proof of this.
Your lost things will not be returned to you though
hoho next time read the item before clicking accept atleast it was lvl 3. No refunds.

OP, it sucks and happened to me the same way a few leagues ago. Contact support and give them all the details, and any evidence you have (screenshots etc.)

You won't get your divs back, but they do track accounts suspected of doing this stuff and ban them eventually if there's enough evidence.

Just don't get scammed again lmao.

You literally have to hover the item to accept a trade, it takes all of 1 second to glance at the items details to make sure it's the correct one.

Make sure what you're accepting is the item you actually want???

Scamming is part of the game because GGG wants players to interact and do some friction together.
Never sleep on the wheel.
Especially not when you're trading something "valuable".

It's sadly something you have to learn the hard way.
When I was new I fell for the same scam, didn't watched the level of the enlighten after canceling the trade.

Never ever blindly accept a trade.
If a trade is cancelled double check every time!

A scammer can never scam you by his own - you alawys played your part if you got scammed.

What can you do?
write a mail to the GGG support.

What will happen?
GGG may flag the scamming account (most likly will only get banned if there multiple instances of tickets)

Will you get your enlighten lvl 4 or you currency back?
No.
Be glad it is a one-time-lesson to learn. For future reference: This is the MOST COMMON scam in the entire game. This season alone I just purchased 1x empower 4 and 1x enlighten 4, and in those attempts I had 7!!! people trying to pull that shit.

Whenever someone cancels a trade, this needs to be a huge red flag in your brain that something fishy might be going on. Honestly, if you checked the market value of your chaos/divine combination and someone stops the trade you can actually just block them right away and go to the next person. In more cases than not you got rid of the scammer like that.
