The new league mechanic is a nightmare for RF
Yes I know i am a whiner, but seriously, who thought it was a good idea, to put an invisible debuff which completly diasables regen in a league mechanic where melees have to be deep in the fray.
Rightous fire builds can`t toggle RF on and off, so it now happened many times, that the moment I spawned and put on RF, a projectile from 3 screens away, hit me disabled regen and left a dot to make sure I can`t even flask through. This is just bad game design, and since the debuff is not shown you normaly realise, when its too late. This just looks like a lazy solution to balance tanky RF builds and is taking out a lot of the fun of the mechanic. All I can tell you is, I went into the league with a lot of excitement for the mechanic but lately I am leaving the tournament frustrated, because I had to spend the last 10 min watching my Team chipping away at the last 3 enemy totems, because I die the second I put on RF. RF has a few downsides. Deal with it. 😝

Oh no your rf character can't do everything after all.
Must be bad game design. Or maybe just make a different build?
Its not about being able to do everything, its not even about being hard, its just simply unplayable.
I have no problem with content that forces certain builds to play better, but invisible build destroying debuffs is not about getting good, its about bad game design. Its totaly normal that some builds do better in a mechanic, but this is a level of disadvantage that far exceeds the scales of balance. Especially with no way to counter it.
" What rank are you in? I'm at 325 and climbing on my RF character. At some point pretty much every build is going to hit a wall where they get 1 shot or can no longer kill the tanky mobs like big turtle. Also your whole premise is scuffed. Dousing flask. |

" See thats a great response, I wasn`t thinking of dousing Flask, so thank you for that. I am still standing on the point that the debuff being invisible is still not fair, but I stand corrected on the unplayable part.
" Yeah great game design to force people not to play their favirite build! #facepalm German saying: Schönheit und Funktionalität in Sekundenschnelle zu ruinieren, ist dem wahren Dilettanten keine Herausforderung!

" I don't even activate RF, there is no point. It does so little damage past 300, it's not worth it. You just run around, bait the channels on totems, assist your flankers, sometimes go back to defend. But you don't kill any of the enemy monsters. If I need to interrupt - I just flame dash or fire trap, they do enough hit damage to interrupt. RF is useless on higher rating.
Poe is not fun. It’s is designed to frustrate. Remember the time when you used to have fun playing games? Poe ain’t it.
