What (EU) stands for in server list?

This might sound like stupid question, my buddy was laughing that this is Europe Union and London isn't in it (brexit) and I am thinking it's just region - Europe. Russia however is also in Europe and Moscow has (RU) in it.

Yes, EU is European Union, we may have Brexited but our landmass is still in the same place

EU is probably just short for "Europe" in this example, and has nothing to do with the European Union. There are several European countries that aren't members of the EU.
Russia probably has its own prefix because it's big - and is both European and Asian. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

It's European Union. If you look at the server list on like g-status it has the European Union flag next to it.

It's short for Europe, it has nothing to do with the European Union... Context guys, context. What on earth does the European Union have to do with server locations? I mean you have NA(North American), EU, Asian, etc, servers. How does the European Union fit into that? It doesn't, it's simply the continent Europe...
