Cannot equip the karui in trial with equipment in controller mode

When you press X to take an item, and X again to equip the piece of gear, the karui does not actually receive it. Not even removing the karui from the field and trying to equip them works.

I think the x button is completely broken in the UI for the league mechanic and sanctum, you also can't put things or take things out of your stash or sell anything with X button. I wasn't sure but I am now that you can't actually equip any items. basically, this league is broken on gamepad
