Greyed out options in trade

New to game and on Xbox. When I pull up the trade options certain options are greyed out. Such as armor. I’m not able to select it, to search any filters. Any help on this would be appreciated. I can attach photos if need be

Usually when something is greyed out it just means your search filter is voiding it but even with that, you should be able to select it. Is your Xbox live valid?

Armour is just the main category of the ones below: Gloves, Boots, Body Armour and Helmets. You cant select the main category but the individual ones... The same with for example one handed weapons, you must select one of the categories like claws, daggers, wands, etc...
