Terrible Lag and Occasional Disconnect on XBOX Series X

For the first time in several years I'm getting terrible lagging, freezes and occasional disconnects. This was happening all of last night all the way till 3 AM EST. My nephew was also playing and he was seeing the same behavior. My network connection and his were both fine for other games and things.
