We can help you with this, please contact support@grindinggear.com with your Path of Exile account name and a 2-3 character names. Please also provide 2-3 new account names in order of preference incase the name you desire is taken.

I had my account renamed in 2 minutes (literally) after the mail was sent :)

Was looking precisely for this, gonna try it, if you're name wasn't changed maybe it was because the options were all taken? just a guess
