HELP NEEDED - New player, Scion dual wield elemental damage

Hello Community,

This is my first time playing, and I built a scion dual wielding two elemental damage swords.

I'm in the maps section of the game with 75% elemental resistances (chaos res is in the minus) and a good DPS but I don't understand how people have 7k - 10k life, or 5k Armor?

Can someone please help me understand how to increase life etc?

Item affixes give maybe 60-70 like at max, so how is it possible?

All gear must have HP, its scaling with your passives
