Impending Doom PF Staff Help!

I'm baffled. I thought I'd made a huge upgrade for my Imp Doom PF character in the above staff. Somehow, in spite of having 5% more cdr and way more dot multi I've managed to lose 3.5m dps.

Can anyone decipher what I've done wrong? Note: in both cases I think I'm overcapped on cast speed at 156% which I know is a whoopsie (but even if I lower it in POB the old staff is still better)
