How to remove crucible mod from weapon plz

I cant seem to make this work, and I couldn't find another post with this answer listed either. On PC everyone says "right click" yada yada, cant right click on Xbox, so the next best thing is "A", but when I'm standing in the crucible, clicked on a scour, and then open the weapon crucible tree.... nothing. No options.

Anyone able to tell me what I'm missing? Assuming maybe I'm just dumb.
